Paige Carey

Paige Carey is a contemporary glass artist whose work explores color, light, pattern, and the transformation of fused glass. Working through layered composition and kiln-forming, she creates sculptural objects, wall works, Judaica, and functional forms that move between visual art and daily ritual.

Her practice is distinguished by bold color relationships, dimensional surfaces, and a sustained interest in how transparency and reflection shift with their surroundings. Paige often extends glass through metal, wood, and printmaking processes, using contrasting materials to create structure, depth, and visual counterpoint.

From expressive portraiture and abstract wall pieces to ceremonial objects and vessels, Paige treats function and sculpture as connected modes of making. Each work is composed and fired in small batches in her Maryland studio. The resulting pieces are made to hold presence - in a gallery, in ritual, and in the spaces of everyday life.
